All reported incidents will be addressed promptly, taken seriously, and handled in good faith to ensure fairness and accountability.

Every employee has the right to work in an environment that is free from harassment, discriminatory behavior, offensive jokes, or derogatory remarks. Such conduct is inconsistent with the core values of Bliss Bowls & Smoothies, detrimental to workplace culture, and may expose the company to legal liability. The company holds all employees to a standard of conduct that exceeds the minimum requirements of applicable law. Even if certain actions do not rise to the level of a legal violation, they may still constitute a violation of company policy and result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Bliss Bowls & Smoothies maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment and other unprofessional or inappropriate conduct, regardless of whether such conduct meets the legal threshold of unlawful harassment. Sexual harassment and any behavior that is sexually suggestive, discriminatory, or unprofessional in nature are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, conditioning employment benefits on sexual favors, attributing performance or advancement to gender or protected class status, spreading rumors regarding improper advancement, or engaging in conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. The company recognizes that the impact of behavior on the recipient is often more important than the intent of the individual engaging in such behavior, and employees are responsible for ensuring their conduct does not violate this policy.

Any form of sexual or discriminatory conduct, joking, language, or actions that violate the dignity of individuals in the workplace is strictly prohibited. This includes possession, display, circulation, or distribution of offensive or explicit materials; posting inappropriate content through company systems; defacing property with offensive material; making sexually explicit or discriminatory jokes, slurs, or epithets; and harassing or targeting individuals based on protected characteristics. Such behavior is not tolerated and will result in appropriate disciplinary action.

The policies of Bliss Bowls & Smoothies regarding harassment, discrimination, and professional conduct extend beyond internal employee interactions and apply equally to interactions with non-employees, including customers, vendors, contractors, and members of the public. Any individual conducting business with or interacting with the company or its employees is expected to uphold the same standards of respect, professionalism, and appropriate conduct, and violations involving non-employees will be addressed appropriately.

Employees who believe they have been subjected to or have witnessed discrimination or harassment have the unequivocal right to report such conduct. All employees share the responsibility of preventing inappropriate behavior and are encouraged to report concerns promptly, regardless of whether they are the direct target. Complaints may be submitted in writing to a shift leader, manager, senior management member, company owner, or the Human Resources Manager. All reports will be handled with discretion, seriousness, and confidentiality, followed by a prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation.

Bliss Bowls & Smoothies strictly prohibits retaliation against any employee who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation. Any form of retaliation is a serious violation of company policy and will result in disciplinary action. While all complaints are taken seriously, knowingly false or malicious accusations will also be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
